New Record Month For University of Kent's Mirror Service
The University of Kent Computing Laboratory's UK Mirror Service has had its busiest month yet, racking up over 173 tebibytes of outbound traffic -- equivalent to more than forty four thousand DVDs in total, or fifty nine DVDs an hour. This was primarily due to Fedora and Ubuntu releases during the last month. Usage peaked at about fifteen and a half thousand concurrent downloads with a peak data rate of 949 Mbits/s.
